A Cry for Revival

Oh Lord, my heart weeps! My spirit groans!
Where is the fire that once burned in the hearts of the saints? Where is the passion that fueled the church of old? Where is the hunger that kept men on their knees, crying day and night for more of You? Lord, bring back revival!

The Church of Old: A Glorious Beginning

The early church was a church of power! It was a church built on sacrifice, holiness, and unshakable faith. They gathered in homes, in caves, and on the streets—not seeking comfort, but seeking Christ!

• They prayed without ceasing, and heaven responded with signs and wonders.
• They gave selflessly, sharing all they had, so that no one was in need.
• They preached with boldness, not fearing persecution or death.
• They lived holy lives, setting themselves apart from the world.
• They fasted and travailed in prayer until the Holy Spirit moved in their midst.

They were a church of fire, a people of faith, a generation sold out for Christ! But today, where is that fire? Where is that hunger? Lord, restore us! Bring revival again!

The Present Condition: A Lukewarm Generation

Oh Lord, look at us now! The love for money has replaced the love for souls. The hunger for comfort has quenched the thirst for righteousness. The church that once stood on holiness now tolerates worldliness. The altars that once burned with prayer are now cold.

• We chase after wealth, yet our spirits are bankrupt.
• We fill our churches with people, yet heaven is not filled with souls.
• We desire miracles but reject the discipline of the cross.
• We have preachers without power, altars without fire, and worship without brokenness.

Father, how did we get here? The economy is failing, and so is our faith. Hardship has turned our prayers into complaints instead of worship. Many have abandoned You because of suffering. Greed has taken the place of generosity. Immorality has crept into our gatherings. Lord, have mercy! We cry for revival!

A Cry for Revival That Will Take Us to Heaven

Revival is not just about excitement—it is about transformation! It is not just about miracles—it is about holiness! It is not just about church growth—it is about soul growth!

• Lord, bring back the fire of prayer! Let our altars burn again. Let intercessors arise, let tears of travail fall again!
• Lord, restore holiness! Let the church return to purity, to righteousness, to the narrow way that leads to life!
• Lord, awaken the sleeping saints! Let men and women arise and carry the gospel with boldness again!
• Lord, break the chains of worldliness! Tear down the idols in our hearts—money, fame, selfish ambition—anything that has taken Your place.
• Lord, let our hearts burn for souls! Let sinners tremble at Your Word, let backsliders run back to You, let nations bow before Your throne!

A Revival That Will Touch Every Area of Life

Revival is not just for the church—it is for the home, the workplace, the streets, the government, and the nations!

• In our families, Lord, bring back love and unity!
• In our schools, Lord, restore truth and purity!
• In our businesses, Lord, make us righteous and just!
• In our government, Lord, raise godly leaders!
• In our entertainment, Lord, let holiness be our standard!

Lord, Do It Again!

Let the church arise! Let the dry bones live again! Let the fire fall! Let the gospel spread! Let the world know that Jesus is Lord!

Father, we will not stop crying until You visit us again! We will not stop praying until revival sweeps the land! We will not rest until holiness returns to the pulpit and purity returns to the pews!

Oh Lord, hear our cry!
Revive us again!
